Way to go Becky and Lena! It’s great to see you bring home the gold.

True on the firepower, but who in real life would lug that thing around?

Ummm…someone competing in this type of activity? It’s just a guess, but probably a pretty good one.

One tends to carry the type of firearm best suited for the activity. Shorter barrels for denser brush vs 30″ for open fields…

I can’t help but laugh as I wonder what “practical” use a shotgun with such a ridiculously long magazine would have in any real world scenario. Also, gotta wonder what is “practical” about an International Shooting Confederation that allows such a ridiculous item to be used in its matches.

Magazine? You mean tube. My Tristar 12 gauge has a magazine. I bought it because Measure 114 if passed would have made it illegal. It passed and is being challenged in the courts as we post.

Nice.

Technically, @Grigori is correct. While your KRX is fed with detachable box magazines, Yackley’s semi-auto shotgun is fed with a fixed tubular magazine. The Spencer rifle had a detachable tubular magazine. They are all magazines.

You could be technically right, I am not sure. IMO, if you can’t push a button and drop it and put a new one in, it is not a mag and I would take the box over a tube any day.

Remember, it’s just my opinion.

Fair enough. Merry Christmas @musicman44mag. May reindeer droppings magically turn into golden pistol cartridges for you.

At the price of gold today, I will take it. Merry Christmas to you too.

Who said anything about it being practical? The article sure didn’t.
If everyone else is using one in this type of competition, why wouldn’t everyone?
Btw…since the competition exists, it is a real world scenario.
