NEW KENSINGTON, Pa. — The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, in conjunction with the New Kensington Police Department and the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry, are offering a reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the theft of firearms from RC Firearms LLC, a federal firearm licensee.
In the early morning hours of Jan. 22, RC Firearms LLC, 404 Freeport Street, New Kensington, Pennsylvania, was burglarized and approximately 25 firearms were stolen. ATF and the New Kensington Police Department are seeking the public’s assistance with identifying the individuals responsible for the crime.
ATF is offering a reward for up to $5,000, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total reward of up to $10,000.
This reward is part of a larger national cooperative initiative between the NSSF and ATF, in which NSSF matches ATF’s reward in cases involving the theft of firearms from federally licensed firearms retailers.
Two suspects were caught by video surveillance camera.

I’ll be…didn’t those guys KNOW that it is illegal and unlawful to steal guns? I guess they just didn’t want to deal with back ground checks and waiting periods. Oh well…I’m sure they left their calling cards for the ATF and other “law” enforcement agencies to make it easier for them to be located.
Why would anybody give assistance to the ATF. We’d have to be suffering from Stockholm Syndrome to do such a thing. It’s like self mutilation.
Imagine, if the ATF had shut down this FFL for bad paperwork, this wouldn’t have happened …
That video quality is useless. No one will be caught unless someone who
Buys one of the stolen guns gets caught for some other crime and rolls on the seller(s). Gun shops need a better kind of security than this. Guard dog? I dunno- something though. Guillotine gates that drop on them by motion sense. Something.

Who investigates the ATF when they commit crimes?
Rhetorical question.. no one.
I am so tired of ATF and other agencies offering pennies on the dollar. Private gun supporting clubs should not be providing money to enhance what the federal government is not giving. If our government gives away billions of dollars and guns and ammo to countries including those that hate us, why do we get a mere pittance for turning in traitors. Oh so the guy stole guns and we are offering 10,000 to whoever turns them in. The good guy would do it for free. If the sum was more like 100,000 paid for by our tax dollars, the… Read more »
