This new model was designed with the sole intention of reducing recoil and muzzle jump for easier transition to the second shot. New features include an adjusted pitch angle which allows for a more comfortable flush fit mount on the shoulder while further dispersing felt recoil. Added weight in the stock and barrel deliver perfect balance while aiding in recoil reduction in conjunction with the new Kick-EEZ® butt pad.

The F16 Pro Series shotgun 32” barrel comes with RHINO’s patented 13-port “pigeon porting” system and RHINO G1 series chokes with GP30 nonstick coating, exactly like those used by Cory Kruse in competition. These new features, combined with the improved pitch angle, added weight, and Kick-EEZ butt pad, significantly reduces muzzle jump and felt recoil, even with the heaviest target loads.

“We worked closely with Cory to add key features, that have aided him as a national and world-champion shooter, into a more moderately priced competition shotgun that is truly tournament ready out of the box,” said Jason Evans, CEO, Blaser Group. “The reduced recoil and balance of the F16 Pro Series make it a dream to shoot.”

“The teamwork between Blaser and Rhino, and their trust in my recommendation to produce this special shotgun, has been fantastic. It’s rewarding to see our vision finally come to fruition,” said Kruse. “This F16 Pro Series shotgun will help any competitor reach a higher potential of success, while making clay shooting more fun.”

MSRP:

  • $6,675 (right-handed model)
  • $7,165 (left-handed model)

Wow. I have a couple of Browning Citori shotguns, one Trap and one Skeet. I’ve had them for decades, and paid less than $500 – new – for each. They both fit me very well, and after many thousands of rounds they show some cosmetic wear but are still mechanically sound, lock up tight, and have never malfunctioned. If I NEEDED a new o/u shotgun, it would be another Citori. Even with inflation it would cost around half (maybe less) the nearly six grand they’re asking for these boutique scatterguns.

$6K is actually on the low end for competition shotguns. Check out Kreighoff, Perazzi, Caesar Guerini, or even the Blaser F3 series and you will see that these are much cheaper. Much like golf clubs, spending more money doesn’t automatically make you better at the sport!

Wow… a $6,000 shotgun. Just what I need. Sign me up for a dozen of ’em. You just can’t afford not to have a closet full at this price.

Of course the dollar is not the dollar that you and I grew up with. That 15cent candy bar is now a buck and a quarter. There has been an awful lot of tax and spend generated inflation over the years. That $6,000 shotgun would have been a $300 dollar shotgun in 1971.
