Just 35 miles from the sprawl of Fort Worth, Granbury, Texas, is home to 8,000 residents. Granbury is a small town full of American pride and faith, exactly what makes this nation great. Perhaps it’s only fitting that in this town, some of the best, most compact handguns designed for concealed carry are also made. This is where Bond Arms calls home, founded in 1995 by Greg Bond, brother of current company owner Gordon Bond.
In building what would become the best modern double barrel available, Bond completely redesigned every aspect of the model, starting with the frame, formed from lost wax stainless castings, which offers superior strength and durability shot after shot. Other design enhancements from the original double barrel design include changing the safety so it can be manipulated from left to right in order to allow the right-hand thumb to adjust the safety to fire. Their double-barrel pistols feature a rebounding hammer design and a wider hammer that allows for smoother, faster cocking.
Today, Bond Arms has grown into the leader of the double barrel industry, particularly where new product development is concerned. These guns are made from high-quality stainless steel and other heavy-duty, top-grade materials. All Bond Arms firearms are put through the strictest manufacturing processes to ensure a quality product with every single double barrel.
“We’re one of the few manufacturers that still builds exclusively in the U.S. and uses American-made parts for all of our handguns,” says Gordon Bond, owner of Bond Arms. “We like to say, ‘100 percent Texas Made.’ Even our grips and holsters are made in the U.S.A.”
Some of the most popular models offered by Bond Arms include the Texas Defender, Cowboy Defender, Snake Slayer, Snake Slayer IV, the Ranger and Ranger II, the USA Defender, the Mini 45 and the Girl Mini. Bond Arms’ double barrels have not only become a top choice among serious concealed carry adherents but are also very popular on the cowboy action shooting circuit, where the spirit of the old West is celebrated and lives on in Bond Arms’ handguns.
Bond Arms not only makes the top double barrels available today, but they also make and offer a full line of accessories for their handguns. These accessories include holsters, carry cases and extended grips.

About Bond Arms, Inc.
BOND ARMS, INC. is located in Granbury, Texas and manufactures the award-winning Bond Arms Derringer – the finest in double barrel protection. Originally organized under the name Texas Armory, the company became incorporated as Bond Arms in 1995 with the idea that the Remington Model 95 over-under, single-action derringer could be converted from an Old West anachronism into a modern & reliable handgun. The barrel and frame were redesigned to safely fire modern calibers & the entire handgun is constructed entirely from stainless steel. This makes for a pistol that’s both strong and durable.

I have a Cowboy Defender in 410/45. The weapon is beautifully made, craftsmanship superb, and weighs as much a a lead brick. I thought this would be a good backup ccw until I tried carrying it. A second Glock 26 would be lighter.
Ope;
I already had the G26. I ordered the little rascal and didn’t get to handle it until i picked it up. I know, I know – should have looked up the specs. On the other hand – I still have it after about 10 years. It’s fun to shoot, but can be knuckle buster. I can’t imagine shooting the Cyclops in 45/70.
I think it’s fine carrying it in a holster velcroed to my front seat. Hijacking my car would be a vast mistake unless you like wearing #4 copperplate 410 for a piercing!

Could there be an aftermarket grip for it?

It seems odd that you would both have the same problem with the same gun. I wonder if they are using cheap material or if there is some kind of defect.

“Made in Texas, By Texans” blah, blah. Pack of braggadocios wannabes. Must be trolling for down votes.
He is a transplant and not a real Texan and steals the honor of what a real Texan is. I feel sorry for the real Texans that have to deal with his arrogance like when he talks down to me and spoke down to Terry. He must be one of those people that are always mad, hatred and full of himself thinking that he is better than everyone else and that is why he is so rude to everyone but a few on here that are his buddies. I wonder if he is in pain and suffering and that is… Read more »

Ope, harassing me again said:
I really doubt you will get a reply from a four year old comment . Lmfao!
I said, but I did, I got yours.
Now I will elaborate and say what I wanted to say when I saw his Texas comment but refrained. He slapped the bear again.
The reason they are having problems with the grips are probably because they are probably made in China. Cheap wood. Made in Texas, Nuff said.

Still stuck on stupid ain’t ya? Bonds guns are all made in TEXAS and use the finest material. This isn’t some garage made in Oregon or some shithole like that! I was just trying to help you from making a further idiot out of yourself by talking to a four year old comment. Get a life !
No you weren’t and the proof is in the condescending tone mannerism with your LMAO and you repeat it in this message too.
You really are sick. You should seek mental help from your keepers where you are stuck at.
Dopey said Get a life.
LoL, Too bad this web page is the only life you have and probably more than you deserve, your lucky your keepers let you play here.
Ope said I was just being a nice guy letting you know that you were making an idiot out of yourself, again ! How can I do that when I have you as an example of what not to be. Like you have never made that mistake, right? Didn’t know what the star on his own license was for and I was nice enough to copy the link and the paragraph and share it with you and this is how you treat me. You must be a transplant stealing the glory from real Texans. I bet if you really were… Read more »
Dopey said and erased agian. Still lying about military service? Read the 9th commandment. It’s about lying! I served six years in the US Army and can PROVE it. You didn’t even know what MOS means and thought ‘Nam ended in ‘76. You were on your second deployment (you said) and don’t even know what year the war ended? Many many things show you’re a lying phony. Fake as a three dollar bill! I say: OMG, i never said I was deployed, you must be confusing me with someone else again, maybe nephew or some else related to you, in addition… Read more »
Feel better? Sheesh.
Funny you should comment to my comment from an unwarranted attack rather than to the attacker. You must be his friend. Sorry you are upset by me defending my self but I don’t put up with bully’s.
