With CMMG recently re-imagining their existing DEFCAN line-up that was first introduced in 2018, those with a keen eye may have noticed one omission from this re-imagining. This omission was planned so that CMMG could better refine this offering.
CMMG is happy to introduce their new version of the DEFCAN-22 suppressor. The all new DEFCAN-22 is now made completely in house! The DEFCAN-22 is constructed using a 4140 mounting cap threaded in ½-28, 17-4 Stainless Steel Baffles, and 6061 T-6 Aluminum body and front-end cap.
Along with the new DEFCAN-22, CMMG has also released a dedicated 5.7×28 suppressor, the DEFCAN-57. The DEFCAN-57 is a dedicated suppressor for use on 5.7×28 and 4.6×30 firearms. The DEFCAN-57 utilizes a ½-28 small diameter QD muzzle device (included) for quickly installing or removing the suppressor from your favorite firearm. The DEFCAN-57 is constructed with a design that optimizes 5.7 suppression while sharing aesthetics with the rest of the DEFCAN line.
