With CMMG releasing the DISSENT in 2022, the platform has gained incredible popularity, and growth with many caliber offerings. Even with the multitude of calibers, customers wanted more, and CMMG answered.
CMMG is happy to introduce their new version of Mk3 DISSENTs! The Mk3 is CMMG’s “AR10” platform. Based off the DPMS LR308 Gen 1 High Pattern design. Mk3 lowers are made to accept LR-308/SR25 pattern magazines and is now available in the DISSENT chambered in .308 Win, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 8.6 Blackout!

At the heart of the DISSENT is CMMG’s patent-pending Compact Action, which makes it possible to operate the firearm without the receiver extension and buffer assembly installed. The Compact Action uses a set of dual guide rods and springs contained within the upper receiver to cycle the action and is compatible with both Direct Impingement and CMMG’s patented Radial Delayed Blowback™ operating systems.
The DISSENT features a forward non-reciprocating side charger, giving the shooter the ability to charge the weapon while staying focused down range and on target. For the left-handed shooters, a right-side configured side charger is available for purchase separately. All CMMG DISSENTs also come nicely equipped with an array of ZEROED accessories, and the incredible ZEROED Drop In trigger.
The all new Mk3 DISSENTs will be available in pistols (with and without braces) and rifles in barrel lengths ranging from 12.5” to 20” and available for purchase on July 30, 2024.
In conjunction with this release, there will be an 8.6 Blackout option added to both the BANSHEE and RESOLUTE product lines. Look for these Mk3 DISSENT uppers to be available on the upcoming Br3 by the end of 2024!
