Opinion

Folks, it’s time to cut through the nonsense and get real about the state of crime reporting in this country. The Democrats and their media allies are out here trying to convince you that violent crime is on the decline. They want you to believe that their policies are making your neighborhoods safer. But let me tell you, the numbers they’re peddling are as reliable as a three-dollar bill.
Here’s the hard truth: 32% of police departments across the nation are not reporting any crime data to the FBI.
That’s right, a third of our law enforcement agencies are completely silent. Now, let’s add another layer to this cake – 24% of departments are only reporting partial data. Maybe they got tired, or maybe they’re just as fed up with the bureaucratic nonsense as the rest of us. Whatever the reason, that leaves us with only 44% of police departments providing a full picture.
And this is the data the Democrats want to use to back their policies? Seriously? They’re building castles in the air with numbers that don’t even cover half the country accurately. It’s like trying to judge a book by reading the dust jacket – you’re not getting the whole story.
Let’s put this into perspective. The FBI used to have almost every law enforcement agency on board, reporting in a system that, while not perfect, gave a fairly comprehensive look at crime across the United States. But then they decided to switch things up in 2021, rolling out a new system that’s now riddled with holes. And here we are, in 2022, with massive gaps in crime data. The Marshall Project noted that “By 2020, almost every law enforcement agency was included in the FBI’s database.”
But look at us now – we’ve got a third of agencies missing in action.
So, next time you hear a talking head on TV or a politician at a rally spouting off about how crime is decreasing, remember this: their so-called “evidence” is built on incomplete, inconsistent, and frankly unreliable data. They’re cherry-picking stats to fit their narrative, and they’re hoping you won’t notice the gaping holes in their story.
It’s time to be honest with the American people, even when the truth is uncomfortable. As someone who’s been around the block a few times, let me give it to you straight: real safety doesn’t come from playing games with numbers. It comes from strong, consistent law enforcement and policies that support our police, not undermine them. Top that off with well-armed American citizens, and that equals a safer America.
So, don’t let them pull the wool over your eyes. Demand better. Demand the truth. And don’t settle for anything less.
This data is as clear as day, folks. And it’s high time we started calling it what it is – a smokescreen to cover up the real issues at hand. Let’s get back to the basics: full transparency, full reporting, and policies that actually protect and serve. Anything less is just another Washington pipe dream.
Remember, stay vigilant and keep your powder dry.
- In 2022, 32% of police departments did not report crime data to the FBI.
- Another 24% of departments only reported partial data.
- Only 44% of police departments provided complete data.
The Democrats can keep their fairy tales. We’ll stick with the facts.

Time to ask our old friend “Gold Hat.”
“Data?
We ain’t got no data.
We don’t need no data!
I don’t have to show you any stinking data!!”

The Dementia Joe admin isn’t just censoring social media and burying any bad news for democrats. They’re feeding the public BS crime stats and claiming their policies are reducing crime. The fact is, 32% of police departments across the nation are not reporting any crime data to the FBI.
So a third of our law enforcement agencies are reporting no crime to the feebs, and 24% of departments are only reporting partial data. Crime could be skyrocketing and it would still appear to be falling.
if the fbi cannot create and implement a crime data reporting system for lesser law enforcement agencies to report their data their funding should be slashed by 50% for the next year. what else do they do other than attack law-abiding citizens.
and if the local law enforcement agencies don’t report to the fbi they should not receive any federal funding until they do. ask your local law enforcement agency if they do and hold them responsible if they don’t. that is our job as taxpaying citizens.
I’m have a strong belief that New Orleans and Baton Rouge are not reporting. They were top 10 murders in both places and from what I see homelessness and crime has gotten a lot worse.
would not be surprised, think of all the stations that were conservative talk that now have abc or cbs for their news, they are even slowly sneaking in leftist hosts
the demoncrats wont report as their numbers are getting worse while other parts of country get better so they only let fbi have good numbers
