Sudden Attacks Courtesy of “No Consequences” Criminal Justice System ~ VIDEO

Opinion

“40% of homicides go unsolved. It’s not a good record.

95% of ‘convictions’ come from plea bargaining, which is often coerced.

It’s as if we have the worst of both worlds:

We don’t convict the guilty enough, and we coerce the innocent too much!” ~ Bill Maher.

Knife Attacks!

Last Saturday, a uniformed and armed Santa Monica, CA, police officer was attacked and stabbed, all suddenly and unprovoked, just outside his department’s headquarters.

The single perpetrator used a knife he had just stolen from a local Target Store.

The officer, though seriously injured, still drew his pistol and immediately shot the perpetrator to death.

The officer’s injuries are grievous but not life-threatening.

Yesterday, a single terrorist in Hadera (Israel) precipitously attacked and stabbed six innocent people in four different locations before he himself was shot to death by an armed citizen.

Three of the stabbing victims are still hospitalized and in serious condition. The other three were treated and released from the same hospital.

This is just the most recent of a number of terror/stabbing attacks upon civilians in Israel.

My comment:

Like it or not, the sage (LEOs and all others) need to be constantly in “Condition Yellow.” Many scoff at the idea of “sudden and unprovoked” personal attacks, where an attacker(s) “jump out of the bushes” without warning.

However, in our “Age of Terrorism,” it seems we’re entering a new phase of criminal behavior.

For one, I’m convinced contributing to this open and blatant criminality are:

  1. Our “No Consequences” criminal/justice system.
  2. Emptying of insane asylums and prisons.
  3. Our non-existent “borders”.
  4. A de-emphasis (at all levels) on “good citizenship”.

None of the foregoing will improve any time soon.

The same violent criminals who attack police officers also attack citizens, and citizens need to be able to repel, with lethal force, such attacks in the same way police do!

And, as we see in both examples above, many of today’s homicidal maniacs are also suicidal and thus fully expect to be killed and don’t care. Accordingly, many are not dissuaded by a “show of force” and will relentlessly press the attack until physically stopped.

“Through readiness and discipline, we are the masters of our fate.” ~ Bill Paxton.

There was a news article awhile back, about a NASCAR driver, who was filling his car up with gas at a gas station in California, when out of nowhere, a homeless man walked up to him and pulled out a knife and stabbed him and walked off. He died. Police later said it was the second man this homeless guy had stabbed that day Another article, said s court worker was going out for a walk on her break, was waiting ay a light, when a homeless man came up behind her and punched her in the head knocking her… Read more »

i prefer to call it situational awareness instead of condition yellow. situational awareness should always be on and engaged no matter where you are. the ones who tune everything out when outdoors stand a much greater chance of becoming a victim. keep you phone in your pocket, pay attention, use shiny surfaces such as store windows and cars as mirrors. be ye prepared.

I’ve had strange people come up to me at gas stations and truck stops asking/ begging for money to purchase gas for their car. They ask for a ten or twenty, I tell them I am only putting in ten dollars in the tank. If I had twenty, I’d be putting ii on the tank. Then they walk away to another person. I’ve seen other drivers open their wallets and hand them bills. What would they do if this person grabbed their wallet or purse and ran off? Many are drug addicts who will do anything to get money to… Read more »

Not new. Recall the “knockout game” of a few years ago? The sucker punch was fatal to several people, others suffered life long injury. Some perps had consequences, most faded into the background. Then, there were the ice-cream lickers who popped the lids, spit and replaced the lids. It was disgusting, likely spread disease, but it just in grocery store products. No big deal. Not much accountability there either.

Social media and ‘entertainment’ (movies, etc.) spread a lot of good (BAD) ideas. Censorship vs ‘free speech’ is great to debate, but there are real costs to both.

Funny you should bring up the ice cream lickers. I bought some Dryers the other day and did a pick up so the store clerk grabbed the ice cream for me. There was no seal on the lid and no plastic cover that needed to be removed over the top of the ice cream. No more Dryers for me.

Bigfootbob

I was in Safeway awhile back and witnessed a middle aged frumpy woman popping the lids off sour cream containers and running her index finger along the seals on the plastic membranes. I watched her do that with several containers before she handed one to her male accomplice to place in their cart. It astonished me. She didn’t try to hide what she was doing but she was indiscriminately handling and replacing product and that looked gross and crazy to me. I fetched a Safeway employee and told them what I observed and pointed out the couple to him. It… Read more »

One time I was at the grocery store, I went to the bakery department and wanted to get a couple of donuts. There was a old guy opened the plexiglass doors and was picking up the donuts with his fingers and not using the tissues provided. I said ” what are you doing? Don’t pick up the donuts with your fingers” He replied ,” I don’t have AIDS, I don’t have AIDS” I said ” man I don’t know what you have, but you’ve been pushing a shopping cart, touched door knobs, picked up other things”. He wandered off. I… Read more »

I once saw someone grab a donut out of a case , take a huge bite and put the rest back into the case.

Articles on social media tell of teenagers and adults in grocery stores licking vegetables and putting them back on the produce rack. Photos of women hiking up their skirts and sitting down on meat and on the produce. Photos of women in Walmart flashing their boobs. Even supposed to be photos of people taking a dump in the aisles in Walmart. Even a video of some dude standing on meat while repairing a outlet. I’ve seen bags of potato chips opened and someone had eaten some and put them back. Same thing with bags of cookies. They’ve been open and… Read more »

“Social Media” is, more often than not, “Anti-Social Media”. Notice the upward trends of all kinds of ridiculous crap that just never (or very rarely) happened before its advent. We’ve given all the idiots & a$$holes the perfect way to find one another, conspire, and egg each other on to do stupid or terrible things and a platform for bullying the vulnerable far beyond anything they might experience in real life, driving many into acts of desperation. Is it any wonder that, like the Cobra Starship song, “The Kids Are All F’d Up”?

Nice article John. My only question is why did the cops haul their fellow officer to the hospital instead of waiting for the ambulance like they do for the general public? Smells like preferential treatment to me.

hasbeen

true so i think we should do away with the entire judicial system and go straight to anarchy. just think of the extra money that could be used to pay the illegal aliens

Arny

Good thing Target didn’t have firearms ? Sarcasm fellas. lol

AZ Lefty

Speaking of asylums this rants shows a need for a 5150

Wild Bill

5150 is the California Penal code section for when a person due to mental health is a danger to himself or others. Are you sure that you are an AZ leftist or maybe you are a Cal leftist incognito.

3l120

Actually 5150 is part of the Welfare and Institutions Code (WIC). Danger to self or others OR unable to care for self or property.

Wild Bill

So why would one claiming to be from Az be familiar with the Cal. Penal code or the Welfare and Institutions Code?

DDS

When I read “5150” I think of the original IBM PC, which was their model 5150. It is one of the few devices that reshaped the world as we know it.

I have one sitting here next to my desk. I guess my reality is somewhat different from yours.

You need to go eat an ice cream cone and take a long nap. Don’t stress yourself by being here.
