Each exclusive Winchester framed collectible board features historic ammunition cartridges, nostalgic packaging and the Winchester150th anniversary medallion. The five collectible firearms featured in each cartridge board embody the rich Winchester heritage respected by sportsmen and women across the world.
The lineup includes:
- Model 1866 Yellow Boy Chambered in 44 Rimfire
- Model 12, 20 Gauge
- Model 1873 .38-40 Cal. Made in 1882
- Model 1894 Lever Action Rifle in .30 WCF
- Model 70 (pre-1964) .30-06

I just got my Henry .41 magnum lever action…..Winchesters were based on the original Henry rifle.

It’d seem to me that if they want to celebrate Winchester than that Model 70 should be in .270
Yeah, I think that you are right, .270 would be really appropriate. I wonder if Brett Flaugher, vice president of sales, marketing and strategy, would tell us if the time and meticulous work that went into building these remarkable pieces of art … are Japanese time and effort.
I’m thinking these are bought on the open market, so the model 70 sayd it’s a pre-64 and the 1873 was made in 1882. The caliber’s available are probably they were able to find, so 30.06 was more available to find for this project. I’m wondering if these will be factory refurbished to look like original finish, or in the unrestored condition in which they obtain them. I noticed the 1894 is chambered in the original Winchester designation .30 WCF rather than the modern terminology of 30-30, which was Marlin’s name for the same cartridge.
