Elites Worried About Violent Rebellion Fear Monster They Helped Create

Modern-day rope-selling capitalists may just find that history repeats itself. (19th-century illustration of a tumbrel conveying prisoners to the guillotine/Auguste Raffet – book: Hector Fleischmann, La Guillotine en 1793, 1906/PD)

U.S.A. — “The multi-billionaire owner of luxury jewelry company Cartier has revealed his greatest fear – robots replacing workers and the poor rising up to bring down the rich,” the U.K.’s Independent reports. “Speaking at the Financial Times Business of Luxury Summit in Monaco (obviously), the fashion tycoon told his fellow elite that he can’t sleep at the thought of the social upheaval he thinks is imminent.”

Johann Rupert’s first concern is that  “the middle classes won’t want to buy luxury goods for fear of exposing their wealth.”  Then he realizes “We are destroying the middle classes at this stage and it will affect us. It’s unfair. So that’s what keeps me awake at night.”

What’s unfair? That the middle class is being destroyed or that it will affect insulated “One-Percenters”?

It’s how it will affect them that should keep him up at night, along with recognizing whose platform calls “the lower middle-class masses … the most dangerous enemies of the dictatorship of the proletariat.” (Gun-owning union member who vote Democrat, take note, and of the term “useful idiot.”)

Rupert’s not the only one losing sleep.

“’The Pitchforks Are Coming… For Us Plutocrats,’ Seattle-based ‘One-Percenter’ Nick Hanauer writes in an open letter on Politico to his ‘fellow zillionaires,’” I wrote several years back for JPFO. “He’s evidently feeling more than a little guilty about his wealth, and thinks he can make everything better and keep the mob he fears his fellow Americans have become from devouring him by raising the minimum wage.”

Therefore, he can’t have that mob armed, which was no doubt one of his considerations when joining with Bill Gates and Michael Bloomberg to impose registration-enabling prior restraints (masked as “background checks”) on gun purchases in Washington State.

Speaking of Bloomberg, the pitchfork-wielding mob has already come for him – albeit last time around they were plastic, “for effect.” What that effect will be on the day they’re replaced with real ones remains to be seen, but if it ever comes, he’d better pray those protecting him have plenty of “weapons of war” capable of killing many people as quickly as possible. Because that’s what it will take, and that assumes the mob by that time hasn’t figured out a workaround to all those “commonsense gun safety laws” that urban turf fighters in places like Chicago and Baltimore have long known how to skirt with ease.

At that point, it would be beyond naïve to expect Democrat politicians to allow their LE attack dogs to open fire on their constituents—at least the new crop of radicals that are members of the Democratic Socialists of America and the Congressional Black Caucus. Does anyone really think it would be a dilemma for Hakeem Jeffries or Rashida Tlaib to look to their own power bases as opposed to helping Nancy Pelosi and old establishment Democrats preserve their influence and their millions?

And that means all the elites who bet on disarming their “middle class” countrymen and canceling any competitors who didn’t go all out genuflecting to the DEI/Woke complex will need to rely on private security to keep their cowering hides out of the tumbrels and off the scaffolds.

“What makes these billionaires think their security details won’t have families of their own that will be their first concerns, especially the worse things turn out to be?” l asked in another JPFO article about billionaires trying to ride out the Apocalypse they helped bring about on remote ranches, in luxury bunkers, in “sea castles”? “Men may die for a lot of things, for loved ones, for convictions, for country… but for their boss?”

And what’s to stop hired gun mercenaries from deciding the boss has paid for a pretty nice setup, electricity, plenty of food, top-shelf booze, and he’s powerless to prevent them from taking it, and maybe his trophy squeeze, for themselves?

Ironically, the main impediment to any of this happening is what the Founders knew to be “necessary to the security of a free State,” an armed citizenry capable of organizing and repelling “enemies foreign and domestic,” the very people these myopic billionaires in their arrogance and hubris are helping to finance AstroTurf citizen disarmament edicts against. And not coincidentally, these are the “middle classes,” or “bourgeoisie,” working “traditional” Americans, that the totalitarian-minded are stirring up envy, entitlement demands, resentment, and murderous rage against.

The thing is, we will not disarm.

Nor, I think, will many be inclined to help out anyone who makes that an issue for us.

If only they’d stop pushing. But they won’t. So it looks like the best way to keep the peace is by maintaining our arms to “keep the invader and plunderer in awe.”

Very important article and with all the links. Especially to me.

You will have to go to New Zealand to find the Uber wealthy. They will vanish like a fog if things get dicey and run to a country that is already disarmed.

AM – you are correct about them fleeing to such places, well the ones who get enough advance warning anyway. The rest will hunker down in their mansions and ‘think’ that their armed guards and or the police/military will willingly protect them. At least until the guards and their families get hungry enough.
I remember a pertinent line from a movie from a while back where the rich dude demanded his guard protect him from the vengeance he was due – the guard said ‘not for 10 bucks an hour’.

Wasn’t that when Crocodile Dundee attacked the Colobian drug lord’s’ mansion, in either Dundee 2 or 3? The one that ends with his girlfriend shooting Dundee in Australia, when he dresses up as the drug lord to flush him out?

When the Marxist Dems/Elites finally manage to kick off CW2.0, a LOT of them will meet the justice they deserve.

JH – if enough of the elites were to “meet the justice they deserve” perhaps that war might be averted. I’m not anticipating either……………

Outstanding article, David. Shared with all my friends and family.

Re: Besos putting a likeness of his new GF on the bow.

I wonder if Ragnar Lothbrook would have strapped the girl herself to the prow rather than a sculpted likeness.

Even today’s pirates have gone soft, LOL.

As America continues to morph into what the Founding Fathers tried so hard to ever prevent it becoming, alarming situations will continue to escalate. We either live FREE of government tyranny, or die men in bondage to a government that will not cease to envelop the lives of its citizens under the guise of “looking out for us”. That has NEVER ended well in all of human history. If the federal government didn’t mortify you by steeping between you and your personal physician during the so called “COVID PLANDEMIC”, then its safe to assume they’ve got you right where they… Read more »

Our Nation, is more divided now, over multiple issues, than our Forefathers were over Slavery. Just look at the Democrats’ reaction to the last 3 SCOTUS Decisions. All 3 Decisions were correct, and all 3 were the 9nly cogent interpretations of the 1st and 14th Amendments. What’s worse is the Left’s disconnect, because a clear and large majority of Americans fully support the Decisions, yet the Left’s screaming about how Democracy just died. One has to wonder if FAUX News even understood how true their “Wanna Be Dictator” chyron really was? No Election(s) will fix/repair a Government that has moved… Read more »

Three men in a room and one has a gun. Who’s in charge? That’s right and it is best that all wise men remember that.

I hope I live long enough to see the day. Keeping the Arms cleaned and oiled the mags loaded! I’m also keeping my Randall clean, oiled and nice and sharp. I want get a nice string of “Yeah, you know!
After all scalps are way too messy!

Never underestimate the taking of a scalps’ ability to frighten the sheep. It worked for many years for the Plains Indians out here in the west. They were finally defeated, but not on the battlefield. We had to turn to the destruction of their food supply in order to prevail. I’m reminded here of the movie “Legends of the Fall”. Brad Pitt plays a cowboy, raised by a native chief, from Big Timber, MT. When his brother is killed in the trenches in WW1, he strips down to his skivvies and crawls out into no-mans land, in the dark, armed… Read more »

Once again,Mr. Codrea proves that he is aware of things that most dare not even dream about. He is one of the truly awakened few. Unlike the sleeping masses of sheep that make that claim. “ The increase in size of the military, police forces, and of their armaments, are all essential for the completion of the above plans. The situation we need to arrive at is that the populations of the world’s nations consist of only: (1) ourselves; (2) the masses of the working class; (3) a few millionaires devoted to our interests; and (4) police and soldiers. Throughout… Read more »

IMHO, I don’t think very many of them would make it to the tumbrel wagon, let alone to the scaffolds. If you know what I mean. And I also don’t see the communist left ever really trying to disarm American gun owners, because they know what would happen. It just ain’t gonna happen.
