They seem attractive, other than the ventilated rib on a 2″ barrel, but the GCA 68 is undoubtedly the reason for that, since it adds points to allow importation.

A number of years ago I purchased one of these in blue and I have been quite satisfied with it. Only point on the negative side is that it came with an uncrowned barrel, but I had a local smith crown it for me so that was easily resolved. Aside from that, I think it is well worth the price.

If it were in blue, parkerized, or stainless, I would get one. For me at least, nickel has always been one of the most difficult finishes to maintain well.

I would like to try one but I do not think it well replace my Smith’s and Ruger’s.
