Alex “Alejandro” Roubian is President of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society (NJ2AS) and Managing Editor at NJ2AS News. Founded in 2010, NJ2AS is the largest and most effective civil rights organization in New Jersey. Alex’s work has been featured and published by major national media outlets and has led to direct results and responses by the New Jersey government.
In 2015 Alexander led an undercover investigation into the corruption and violations of New Jersey’s gun laws that were being committed by government agents. Within 10 days of releasing his findings, the Governor of New Jersey signed an executive order demanding police departments follow State and Federal guidelines citing NJ2AS’ undercover videos. Alexander’s investigative reporting also led to New Jersey’s firearm permitting scheme to be modernized, significantly reducing delays and wait times for applicants.
