Charlotte, NC –-(Ammoland.com)- Recently, the Pennsylvania General Assembly reconvened its 2013-2014 legislative session.

Last session, dozens of anti-gun bills were introduced and were successfully prevented from passage.  However, our fight is not over in Harrisburg.

Over the last several years, nearly fifty local governments have enacted illegal gun control ordinances in violation of the state firearms preemption statute.  Despite the flurry of recent activity, the General Assembly has failed to act on important reform legislation that would address this serious problem.

Therefore, strengthening Pennsylvania’s firearms preemption law will remain a top priority for the 2014 legislative session.

Your NRA-ILA will continue to keep you updated on this proposal as well as other measures that affect you as a gun owner and sportsman in the new year.   Please continue to check your e-mail and www.NRAILA.org for further updates.
